Walker Theatre

The Madame Walker Theatre Center is a former moviehouse constructed in 1927 linked to its namesake: Madame CJ Walkers, America's first self-made millionaire.  As the primary provider of Aftrican-American arts in central Indiana, it celebrates arts and culture from the Aftrican American perspective and cross-cultural programming.  It is located on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis ( IUPUI ) campus.
